Service Plan - Protect against the cost of unexpected service calls

Servicing your equipment has never been so affordable or easy.

Security Associates is introducing an affordable Service Plan that ensures the quality and reliable service our customers have come to depend on, with substantial savings. Security Associates offers two plans, each tailored to meet the needs of most customers. Either plan provides quality service from a Maryland State licensed and insured technician during normal working hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday). And besides free services and deep discounts, you’ll enjoy preferential status when service is needed.

Service Plan Highlights & Benefits

Standard Plan:

  • All labor to repair any system problem covered under the plan is provided at no additional charge.
  • Any part required to repair a system problem is billed at a 50% discount to the standard list price for that part.

  • After hours emergency service and system inspections are provided at a 50% discount to the standard billing fee.

  • Subscriber requested system inspections are offered at a 50% discount to the standard inspection fee.

  • No trip charge for service calls during normal business hours.

  • Customers covered under a Service Plan receive priority service.

Premium Plan:

  • All parts and labor to repair a system problem covered under the plan are provided at no additional charge.

  • After hours emergency service and inspections of your system are provided at a 50% discount to the standard billing fee.

  • Subscriber requested system inspections are offered at a 50% discount to the standard inspection fee.

  • Customers covered under a Service Plan receive priority service.

  • No trip charge for service calls during normal business hours.

Service Plan exclusions:

Neither plan covers any repair or replacement of Subscriber’s alarm equipment that is needed because of any event beyond the control of Security Associates. User error, batteries for wireless alarm systems, telephone line trouble, foil tape, and changing of auto test times or user codes are not covered.

Should a Security Associates representative arrive for any scheduled service appointment and no one is at the Subscriber’s premises, Subscriber agrees to pay a $50 trip charge.

Base pricing includes control panel, one keypad, battery, and transformer. Each additional piece of equipment counts as a point of protection. This includes additional keypads, key fobs, etc.

Free Security System Review for Subscribers

To qualify for this program, subscribers will be given a Service Plan inspection at no charge, if they have not undergone a system inspection within the past 18 months. The purpose of this system review is to identify basic information about your system, such as the model, make and age of equipment and number of points and rating. This inspection does not determine whether every zone tests correctly, its purpose if to provide a general overview of the system condition.

Complete System Inspections Available

Any subscriber requesting a (10 Point) Complete System Inspection will be provided a service call that includes a visual, as well as a physical review and testing of every device of the system into the central monitoring station. When testing each device, the technician will determine and record whether the device passed or failed. A complete written report, along with the central station activity, will be provided to the customer by the office staff after the inspection.
